Sam's Home Hardware is owned and operated by Brad and Jenny Roth. They were raised in this area and value their many community connections. Brad has an extensive background in direct hardware and building retail, while Jenny's MBA, combined with sales and marketing experience with Colgate Palmolive, has equipped her for practical business management.

Awards and Distinctions ​

​In 2017 St. Marys Home Building Centre and Sam's Home Hardware were awarded the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence award in the retail category. Brad, Jenny and staff were recognized for not only the success of the business, but also their generosity to their local community and their efforts towards environmental sustainability. ​

Sam’s Home Hardware has been recognized by Festival Hydro’s retrofit program for their participation in the SaveONenergy conservation program and ongoing efforts to conserve Ontario’s energy. Both Sam’s Home Hardware and the St. Marys Building Centre took part in the program, updating both 10,000 sq ft retail locations with new light fixtures and LED lights.

Home Hardware Stores Limited is owned and operated by independent Home Hardware Dealers across Canada. Founded in 1964 by a small group of hardware retailers, it has grown from an idea into the largest Dealer-Owned hardware and building supply wholesaler in Canada, with membership of over 1000 stores.
